Bonnie Hyde


As the business manager, Bonnie Hyde ensures the smooth operation of Frank Akef & Co., overseeing the staff's professional development, client relations, client business management, company website, internal accounts payable, and so on.

Bonnie graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a Bachelor’s degree, majoring in Economics and Accounting, and a minor in Chinese. Her graduate level studies focused on educational psychology, where she designed training programs and consulted with adult educational institutes in Los Angeles, Shanghai, Macau, Hong Kong. On the business side, she has over 16 years of experience in individual and business taxation, payroll, bookkeeping, as well as over 10 years of experience in real estate investing, and business management.

Bonnie is fluent in Mandarin and English, as well as conversational in Spanish. She has had the opportunity to study and live in Europe, and has traveled and volunteered in various Asian, Central American, and European countries.

Outside of work, Bonnie enjoys leading a healthy and active lifestyle. She has a passion for art, culture, education, travel, and philanthropy. She loves a good challenge and constant learning.

Bonnie currently serves as the president of the Alpha Epsilon Phi sorority alumni group in Los Angeles. Their philanthropy benefits the Elizabeth Glazer Pediatric AIDS Foundation, and works closely with the Sharsheret Breast Cancer charity. The organization is proud to continue to make an impact following the footsteps of their fellow AEPhi sister, the late United States Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg (Kappa Chapter, Cornell University).
